Who we are
Villa Panorama is a privately owned holiday home in Località Pignino Mattina, Barbarano, 25087 Salò (BS), Italy, rented by its owners (Carla, Anna and Irene). This website is informational: it presents the house and lets you contact us. The data controller is the owner family; you can reach us on WhatsApp at the number shown on the site.
What data we collect
This site has no registration, no forms and no account. We only receive personal data when you choose to write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail: your name, phone number and the content of your message (dates, number of guests). We use it solely to answer you and, if you book, to manage your stay and meet Italian legal obligations for tourist accommodation (guest registration with the authorities).
Legal basis and retention
We process your data to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform it (art. 6.1.b GDPR), and to comply with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c). Enquiry messages are kept for 24 months at most; booking data as long as tax and accommodation laws require.
Cookies
Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain. The only optional third-party service is Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd), used to count visits and see which pages and languages work; it is loaded, and its cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) set, only after you click Accept in the banner. If you reject, no cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Links to WhatsApp (Meta), Airbnb and Google Maps open those services, each governed by its own privacy policy.
Hosting and security
The site is served over HTTPS from a server in the European Union. Server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) are kept for a short period for security purposes only.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure or portability of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Just write to us on WhatsApp.
